This boathouse sits on the south shore of Rich's Cove. Although it is in something of a state of disrepair, it still holds an old rowboat whose seaworthiness is probably questionable now. When I was young and spending summers on the island, my family had use of this selfsame rowboat for a season and my brothers and I passed hour upon hour rowing around Rich's Cove. It was also from this boat that I caught my first dogfish at the age of eight or nine, a major milestone in my life as a sport fisherman ;)
