The Isle au Haut Company provides ferry and freight service from Stonington, Maine to the island. Sightseeing excursions are also available, as is seasonal service direct to Duck Harbor (Acadia National Park) on Isle au Haut.

The Isle au Haut Company operates two boats, The Mink and The Miss Lizzie, the latter being named for lifelong island resident and postmistress Elizabeth Rich. (On a personal note, both are fine vessels, although I must express an affinity for the Miss Lizzie; Elizabeth Rich was a friend of mine when I was a boy).

The ferries make three trips a day in the summer, two in the fall and winter. Sunday and Holiday trips are only available in the summer. For the most current schedules and rates, visit The Isle au Haut Company website.
